No sooner is summer over than all eyes in the travel and camping communities turn to Leipzig: From November 19 to 23, 2025, Touristik & Caravaning Leipzig (TC Leipzig) will open its doors —and we at Boxio will, of course, be there with our own booth! TC Leipzig is the largest vacation and caravanning trade show in Central Germany and attracts over 60,000 visitors annually to the Leipzig Exhibition Center . Across more than 65,000 m² of exhibition space, around 450 exhibitors will showcase everything related to tourism, camping, caravanning, the outdoors, and leisure . This fair combines a passion for mobile travel with a wealth of vacation ideas and recreational activities—a truly all-around experience for the whole family . Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about opening hours, directions, tickets, program highlights, and, of course, what to expect at our Boxio booth.
Opening Hours
-
Date: November 19–23, 2025 (Wednesday through Sunday)
-
Hours: Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Five days of trade show fun are just around the corner. TC Leipzig traditionally takes place every November and runs from Wednesday through Sunday. Every day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., you’ll have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the world of the trade show—enough time to explore all the halls, booths, and activities!
Directions
-
Venue: Leipzig Exhibition Center, Messe-Allee 1, 04356 Leipzig . The Leipzig Exhibition Center is located about 7 km north of downtown and is one of the most modern in Europe .
-
Public Transportation: Tram line 16 takes you directly from Leipzig Central Station to the fairgrounds in about 20 minutes (final stop : Leipzig, Messegelände) . The tram runs frequently during the fair, so you can arrive and depart with ease. Alternatively, you can take the S-Bahn or regional train from the main station to the Leipzig Messe station, which is located right next to the fairgrounds . From there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the exhibition halls.
-
By Car: For drivers, the Leipzig Trade Fair is easily accessible via the A14 highway (Leipzig-Messegelände exit). Follow the signs for “Messe”—you can’t miss the fairgrounds. Parking is plentiful: There are large parking areas for visitors right next to the exhibition halls (parking fees are charged by the day; tickets are available from the automated machines). Travel tip: Traffic on the A14 and the access roads can get heavy around the start of the fair—so plan for a few extra minutes.
-
Other options: From Leipzig/Halle Airport, you can reach the fairgrounds in about 15 minutes by taxi or car (also via the A14). Some long-distance buses also stop at Leipzig Central Station, from where you can continue by tram or S-Bahn.
Tickets
-
Online Ticket Shop: Tickets for Touristik & Caravaning 2025 are conveniently available online through the Leipziger Messe ticket shop at . We recommend booking tickets in advance—this saves time and often money thanks to online discounts.
-
Prices: The organizer has not yet officially published the current admission prices for 2025 (as of now). As a guide: In previous years, the price for a regular day ticket was around 12–15 € per person . Discounts (for schoolchildren, students, seniors, etc.) usually lowered the price significantly, often by half . Children under 14 often had free admission or were eligible for heavily discounted family rates. You can expect similar pricing structures for 2025—detailed information will follow on the official website. Early-bird tip: Tickets were available at an early-bird price through October 31, 2025 . If you missed this promotion, it’s still worth checking online: With a little luck, there may be other advance-sale deals or combo tickets available.
-
Single-Day vs. Multi-Day Tickets: If you plan to visit the fair on multiple days (there’s so much to see!), a multi-day or 2-day ticket is worth it. Many exhibitors change their lineup daily, and there are always new stage shows—a second day of visiting can be well worth it. The exact prices for multi-day tickets are yet to be announced; based on past experience, a 2-day ticket costs around 20–25 €, which is slightly less than the combined price of two single-day tickets.

Special Events
Touristik & Caravaning Leipzig sees itself not just as an exhibition, but as an interactive trade show —and the supporting program and on-site activities reflect this diversity :
-
Stage Program & Lectures: Exciting shows, presentations, and interviews take place daily on several stages throughout the halls . Travel experts and adventurers share stories from their trips around the globe in live presentations—whether it’s a van life expedition through Africa or a backpacking trip through South America. Van life pros offer helpful tips on living in a camper, and experts discuss topics such as vehicle technology, safety, and sustainability while traveling . There’s also something to learn on the culinary front: In cooking shows, professional and outdoor chefs demonstrate how to whip up delicious meals on the go —complete with tastings for the audience, of course!
-
Workshops & Hands-On Activities: Visitors of all ages can get involved in hands-on workshops. Whether it’s a beginner’s workshop on camping conversions (“How do I equip my van?”), a photography workshop for travel bloggers, or a knot-tying course for sailors—there’s a wide range of options. There are special activities for families and children: From climbing walls to driving simulators and craft stations, everything is on offer to ensure the little ones have fun too . The fair aims to be an experience for young and old alike, so children’s activities and interactive areas are firmly on the schedule .
-
Contests & Raffles: As every year, visitors can win great prizes. Daily raffles are held on the main stage —ranging from travel vouchers and camping gear to entire vacation packages. So keep your eyes and ears open as you walk through the halls: Often, simply entering a contest or listening to a presentation is enough to get your name in the drawing. With a little luck, you’ll go home at the end of the show not only with new experiences but also with a prize!
-
Themed Specials 2025: Every year, TC Leipzig also highlights specific themes. In 2025, the focus will be on the region of Catalonia, among other topics: The famous Grand Tour de Catalunya will be prominently featured . There will be presentations several times a day on this tour through Catalonia, including a virtual reality experience —visitors can immerse themselves in the landscapes and highlights of the route using VR headsets . In addition, the Catalonia booth will offer culinary tastings such as vermouth, wine, and cava to give visitors a taste of this culinary journey. Such thematic highlights make the fair particularly diverse. Other special features include a photo contest (prizes will be awarded for the community’s best travel photos) and a “Tourism Heroes” award ceremony, which honors individuals who have made exceptional contributions to sustainable and innovative tourism .

Visitor Information
Here’s some useful information and tips to help you enjoy a relaxing visit to TC Leipzig:
-
Family-Friendly: TC Leipzig is specifically designed as a trade show for the whole family. Children are warmly welcome—and admission is often free for children under a certain age (please check the information at the ticket counter or online). On-site facilities include diaper-changing and nursing rooms, a play area, and family-friendly dining options. Strollers are allowed in the exhibition halls.
-
Dogs: Good news for dog owners— dogs are allowed on the fairgrounds, but you must carry a valid proof of vaccination (vaccination card showing rabies vaccination) . Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Make sure your dog can handle the hustle and bustle of a trade show—it can get loud and crowded in the halls. Water bowls for dogs are available at several locations.
-
Accessibility: The Leipzig Exhibition Grounds are state-of-the-art and fully accessible. All halls are accessible at ground level or by elevator; there are accessible restrooms and designated parking spaces for guests with disabilities. Companions of severely disabled individuals with a “B” designation usually receive free admission (please check when purchasing tickets).
-
Food and Drink: You’ll find numerous food stands at the fair: from quick bratwurst to international snacks and vegan bowls, there’s something for every taste. Prices are moderate, as is typical for trade shows. A special highlight in Leipzig is the “GenussReise” hall , where you can sample specialties from around the world—for example, you can taste and purchase exotic spices, wines, cheeses, or sweets. It’s the perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the fair.
-
Attendance & Peak Times: With tens of thousands of visitors, it can get crowded during peak times. Saturdays and Sundays, in particular, are very busy. If you want to avoid the crowds, it’s best to arrive first thing in the morning when the fair opens at 10 a.m. or visit on the quieter Thursday or Friday. Tip: On Wednesday (the first day of the fair), there are often school groups and trade visitors, which fills the halls, but the atmosphere is generally still a bit more relaxed than on the weekend.
-
Accommodations: If you’re traveling from far away and plan to stay overnight in Leipzig, it’s advisable to book a hotel or campsite well in advance. Many accommodations are in high demand during the trade show. The Leipzig Trade Fair offers parking spaces for RVs—more information is available on the trade fair’s website.

What can you experience at the fair?
Touristik & Caravaning Leipzig 2025 offers an incredible range of topics and experiences—there’s something for every travel enthusiast:
In the Caravaning & Camping section (the main focus of the hall), everything revolves around vehicles and equipment for mobile travel . Numerous manufacturers and dealers will showcase the latest models of motorhomes, caravans, campervans, and camping buses . Whether it’s a compact van for a weekend trip, a semi-integrated motorhome for the family, or a luxurious fully integrated model—at TC, you can directly compare all vehicle types and even take a test seat . Many exhibitors allow you to look inside their vehicles. This way, you can experience the floor plans, features, and living comfort of the various RVs firsthand. Roof tents, mini-caravan trailers, and modular camping conversions are also on display—ideal for those who want to convert their car or van into a camper . In addition, you’ll find a wide variety of camping accessories: awnings, grills, furniture, tech gadgets (solar panels, navigation systems), and much more. Beginners can get detailed advice on-site—there are even information booths on topics such as insurance, financing, and RV rental offers .
At the same time, the Tourism & Vacation World section serves as a second major highlight . Over 300 exhibitors from around the world present their travel destinations and vacation offers here . Booths representing countries, regions, tour operators, cruise lines, and leisure providers invite you to browse. You can find inspiration for your next vacation —whether you’re dreaming of a beach vacation in Italy, a cruise in the Caribbean, or an adventure trip through Asia. Many destinations entice visitors with traditional decorations, informational materials, and sometimes even small samples (e.g., tea from Morocco or olive oil from Greece). The best part: You can book trips right there on the spot—or at least make a reservation — . Numerous tour operators offer special trade show deals or early-bird discounts if you decide to book your dream vacation right away. The mix of caravanning and traditional tourism makes the TC unique: Campers will find exactly what they’re looking for here, as will “non-campers” who are simply seeking vacation inspiration .
As already mentioned under “Special Promotions,” the fair is rounded out by an exciting supporting program . You can not only gather information but also enjoy some entertainment. Maybe you’ll listen to a gripping travelogue from a globetrotter on stage, take part in a coffee tasting featuring a highlighted destination, or watch a live DIY session on how to customize your own RV. For children, there are areas where they can play and do crafts—for example, a small traffic training track with pedal carts or drawing contests themed around travel . TC Leipzig wants you to experience the world of travel with all your senses: taste, feel, and try things out . The possibilities at the fair are just as diverse.

What can you expect at our booth?
Of course, you definitely shouldn’t miss our Boxio booth at TC Leipzig! We’ll be there to demonstrate our innovative and sustainable camping solutions in person. At our booth, you’ll find all Boxio products to touch and try out: from our popular dry-separation toilet, the BOXIO-Toilet, to the practical BOXIO-Wash (portable sink), all the way to our solutions for cooking and cooling on the go (like the BOXIO-Cool cooler). If you’ve only seen our products online so far, now’s your chance to experience them in person —see for yourself how sturdy they are and how easy they are to use. We’d be happy to explain every detail and show you how the individual modules work together. For example, have you seen our clever bundles, where the toilet, Wash, and accessories are perfectly coordinated? You can see these combinations in action at our booth. We’re also eager to hear your feedback and answer your questions—share your experiences with us or let us know what product features you’d like to see.
An absolute highlight at our booth is the presentation of the new BOXIO RACK system, which we’ve also brought along to Leipzig. This modular camping box for minivans is making its trade show debut, so to speak, and can only be seen in person here on-site (since the official market launch is just around the corner). The BOXIO RACK consists of several modular elements that can be used, for example, to create a sleeping platform and storage space in your van. You’ll be amazed at how a few wooden modules and our boxes can transform into a complete mini-camper interior—including a bed, kitchen unit, and storage space for a toilet and other essentials. Our experts on site will be happy to demonstrate how to set it up and take it down: You’ll see—it’s done in a flash and without any tools. This “Camper in a Box” concept is ideal for anyone who wants to stay flexible: a camper on the weekend, a family van during the week—no problem with BOXIO RACK. Be sure to stop by and check it out! An opportunity like this to take a close look at the system before buying is something you’ll only find at the trade show. We’re excited to hear your feedback and look forward to answering any questions you may have.

We’re a young team of outdoor enthusiasts and look forward to chatting with you face-to-face. Whether you have suggestions for improvement, want to share your experiences, or just want to say hello—feel free to stop by for a chat.
We’re really looking forward to seeing you at our booth at TC Leipzig 2025! Let’s talk shop, laugh, and share our passion for camping together. The Touristik & Caravaningtrade show is sure to be an unforgettable event—and with you there, it’ll be even better. So: See you soon in Leipzig!
